Small Arched Treatments

The two most common types of arches are:

Full arch: A full half-circle forms and arch that can be extended at the sides.

Eyebrow arch: A slightly raised arch resembling the curve of an eyebrow.

When measuring an arched window or opening for an inside or outside mounted treatment, always make a template to ensure accuracy.

The choice of drapery hardware that can be used on an arched treatment is limited.

Most arched treatments are board mounted
Traversing rods cannot be used on arches.

Most swag treatments will not accommodate traversing under treatment.

Rods with rings cannot be used.

Custom arched iron rods with hooks that are welded in place to hold tab or tie panels are available.

Full-length panels must usually be hing from the swag board or on a separate boards or sash rods.
